I'm Casey, I'm the founder of Comms with Style.
I provide practical communications and engagement support for charities, healthcare organisations and small businesses that don't have an in-house communications team.
My story
As someone who has loved reading and writing from a young age, working in communications is my perfect job. After graduating with a First Class degree in English Language and Media Studies, I built a career in communications, engagement and behaviour change.
Now, I work as a freelance consultant, partnering with charities, healthcare organisations and small businesses to help them tell their story well.
Communications and engagement are at the heart of any successful organisation.
I know that for many teams, fitting communications into an already busy day job can feel impossible.
When you're focused on delivering services, supporting customers, managing staff and keeping everything running, things like social media, website updates, newsletters and communications planning often get pushed to the bottom of the list.
The problem is that while you're working hard behind the scenes, that's not always what people see.
Without effective communications, the full picture of your organisation, the impact and achievements can be missed. Even by your own staff!
For more than 12 years, I've helped organisations build trust, strengthen relationships and connect with people.
Much of my communications and engagement career has been spent in the NHS, leading communications for service changes, public health campaigns and complex programmes that affected thousands of people.
Along the way, I've learned many lessons including that good communication isn't about saying more. It's about knowing your audience and tailoring your messages to them.
Today, I bring that experience to charities, healthcare organisations and small businesses that need practical, affordable communications support without the cost and commitment of employing a full-time communications professional.
